Acts Of Kindness

ACTS 20:35
I have showed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Father, Lord Christ and Holy Spirit, thank you for the countless blessings. My heart is filled with love; my mind is filled with thoughts of you; my life is good. I am grateful to learn all that you teach me. Praise you, for you are glorious indeed!

I pray for all the lost and lonely to know true love. I pray for your truth to be spread farther and wider; by giving us strength, courage and wisdom to do the (seemingly) impossible. Little prayer, little power! No prayer, no power! Lots of prayer, lots of power! Amen

BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT

EPHESIANS 4:21-32
If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Father, Lord Christ and Holy Spirit, I pray for forgiveness of my sin, as I forgive those who have sinned against me; for I understand whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. Moreover, I pray for all those with goodness in their heart know the truth and be made free. Amen

Father, Lord Christ and Holy Spirit, thank you for the countless blessings you provide, and for the goodness, beauty and joy that still exists today. We are blessed indeed. Amen

Father, Lord Christ and Holy Spirit, praise be to you for your love and eternal salvation. I pray all with inward goodness turn from sin and be renewed in the spirit and set forth to fight a good fight. Amen

The Lord Loveth

HEBREWS 12:1-7
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, my son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, where of all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Father, Lord Christ & Holy Spirit, thank you for your countless blessings and infinite grace. I pray for all with goodness in their hearts to turn away from sin and be filled with gladness. Let us praise you fervently for all our days.

Overcome Evil With Good

ROMANS 12:9-21
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Father, Lord Christ and Holy Spirit, I pray that I not be conformed to this world, but be transformed and made acceptable before God. Thank you for your wisdom and teachings; guidance and love. Praise you for the gift of life and loving me in spite of my sinful nature.

I pray for all to acknowledge that it is better to give than to receive, and to demonstrate this in better outward activity, that we truly help one another.

God's Beauty In Rainbows And Butterflies

PSALMS 119:71
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

I do miss my precious angel Angelica, who was the sweetest little sister. I believe with all my heart that God has freed you to enjoy all in Heaven, and I'm certain you love your butterfly wings. Blessed am I to have been loved by you. I'm sending millions of hugs and kisses to you somewhere over the rainbow.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dreamed of
...Dreams really do come true
Someday I'll wish upon a star and
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops that's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly
And the dream that you dare to, why, oh why can't I?
Well I see trees of green and red roses too,
I'll watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Well I see skies of blue and clouds of white
And the brightness of day
I like the dark and I think to myself
What a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people passing by
I see friends shaking hands Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying, I...I love you
I hear babies cry and I watch them grow,
They'll learn much more than we'll know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Someday I'll wish upon a star,
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top that's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
And the dream that you dare to, why, oh why can't I?

With all my heart, mind and soul I give thanks unto God, Lord Christ and Holy Spirit for the precious gift of Angelica, and the many other wonderful beings that have touched my life deeply, who are now somewhere over the rainbow, way up high.

We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight

Through faith we are lifted up to unimaginable heights. My past is a testimony that little good comes from me. However, this day is proof that much good becomes of me with the love of Lord Christ and our wonderful Father.

II CORINTHIANS 5:7-8
For we walk by faith, not by sight: we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

I was born into pain and suffering. I was uncomfortable in my mother's home and in my skin. Early in years I knew much darkness and wickedness of this world, and have experienced much heartache since. Each additional hurt was more damaging; never allowing me to fully recover from the previous devastation. How is it I remain hopeful to find the beauty within me?

II CORINTHIANS 12:9-10
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong.

I am convinced that every figurative and literal bruise and scar has been necessary for me to truly value God, Lord Christ and Holy Spirit above all. Although I have felt helpless, God planted a seed deep within me that bares purpose. I believe all God's creation is uniquely important, but countless men/women seek not God's will, thus are lost, confused, vulnerable and damaged.

GALATIANS 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty where with Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

I often meet many people who are filled with much pain and suffering. I am grateful to God that he made me compassionate and loving, that I don't just sit and watch people suffer. I love! I do want to help in whatever way God allows. Perhaps there is value within my past: wisdom through experience; ability to give a genuine hug filled with care and affection at a time most needed; being able to listen to/understand the woes of others; giving unconditionally; being optimistic and hopeful; and sharing faith... can be a comfort unto a vulnerable soul.

HEBREWS 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Father, Lord Christ and Holy Spirit, I pray for relief to all with goodness in their heart who experience pain and suffering. I pray for unwavering faith in your almighty power to draw us near and heal all hurts. Thank you for loving us and providing countless blessings. I pray we understand the magnitude of your goodness. I pray that we love you with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. In the name of your beloved Son and our precious Savior, I do pray for all glory to be unto you. Amen

God Is No Respecter Of Persons

THE ACTS 10:10:34-48
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) that word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Father, I know Lord Christ is your beloved Son and our Savior. Lord Christ has power beyond our comprehension to heal and make whole. Praise Father! Praise Lord Christ! Praise Holy Spirit!

I pray for the lost, lonely and weak, and for those who cause pain and suffering; they know not the value of the kingdom beyond this earthly life. I pray that you shape and mold them in a fashion that brings all glory unto you. I pray that they be blind no more. I pray for great strength, patience and unwavering love; that your light shine through me unto many. Amen

Father, thank you for the magnificence of your countless blessings. Lord Christ, thank your for your purity of heart and soul, that remains our excellent example of how to be before God. Holy Spirit, thank you for the infinite blessings you bring forth and for being the best part of me.
